Tender & Contracts Coordinator | German

The Tender and Contracts team is responsible for securing and managing agreements to supply their products to European hospitals. As a tender and contract specialist you are the "spider in the web" and liaise with a number of internal departments including legal, product development, regulatory affairs and finance. They join forces with the local sales teams to face external stakeholders such as procurement officers and healthcare professionals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. To succeed in this role, you bring in a project-management approach, the ability to adhere to procedures and deadlines, and strong administrative skills.
Here's a list of your key responsibilities:

  • Navigate public and private contact laws to ensure contracts are submitted and managed according to terms and conditions
  • Identify business opportunities and prepare negotiations, including drafting and reviewing terms and conditions
  • Understand that deadlines are non-negotiable and build road-maps to ensure contracts and bids are completed and delivered on time
  • Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to build high-quality proposals
  • Manage contracts, including monitoring price and product updates, identify risks of non-compliance
  • Liaise with customers
  • Create and file administration as required by applicable contract clauses

Requirements:

For this position, independence and a high level of self-awareness is required. In order to succeed, you need to be accurate, detail-oriented and quick on your feet. Most importantly, you should be able to remain calm under pressure and feel comfortable acting as a leader. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s or masters' degree in Business or other relevant field;
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a highly regulated business, ideally in administration or contract management
  • Strong affinity with sales support
  • C2 level of German and professional level of English;
  • Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, data extractions, lookups, etc.) and experience with SAP is preferred;
  • Good understanding of written texts featuring legal and medical language
