Afrovibes Performing Arts Festival brings the most outstanding pioneers and established performing talents from Africa to the Netherlands. The festival looks to the entire continent of Africa for inspiration, perspectives and bright visions. In this 19th edition, the artists hail from South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Tunisia, Senegal and the Netherlands.
About Afrovibes Performing Arts Festival
Afrovibes is a celebration of topical contemporary dance, theatre and design from Africa, where art and culture are booming with plenty of astounding talent. For 10 days in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Utrecht, visitors can enjoy all the quality in arts that Africa has to offer.
Afrovibes programme
Afrovibes has an extensive fringe programme of debates, masterclasses, artistic exchanges, music, a design exhibition with contemporary African design and graphics, and a special artist-in-residence project. This year's theme is "Rapture".
