Due to the measures in place as a result of coronavirus please check the official page of this event for any possible further details on cancellation / postponement.
The most adventurous arts festival for children from 0 to 6 years and their parents (and / or babysitters!) is back for its 21st year in Almere and for its 10th year in Haarlem. Tickets are now on sale, so families and kids, get ready!
Festival 2 Turven Hoog for the little ones is a musical theatre festival catering for the very youngest theatre-goers! The festival was originally supposed to take place half a year ago, and it is fortunate that it has been rescheduled and adapted into a corona-proof festival.
A musical theatre festival for children
In Almere and Haarlem, young audience members can watch beautiful performances, play around in fun installations and bond with other young culture vultures. The arts festival involves theatre groups and artists from the Netherlands and abroad with a strikingly original festival programme tailored to children from 6 months to 6 years old.
Theatre groups from the Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium will be taking to the stage. In the theatres, you will find original art installations, which can be accessed for free, and in which children can roam around and have a tactile, visual and aural experience.
