Our client, an innovative scale-up company within the food industry with a product you haven't seen before, is looking for a Supply Chain Management intern to join the team for a period of 6-12mths.

This internship provides a unique opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute directly to our client's supply chain operations in the Benelux region while gaining valuable skills and experience in the field!  Sound interesting?

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the strategy manager of Benelux in executing the transition to a new food and pack wholesaler in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Participate in setting up supply chain processes and tools, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and demand planning integration with Headquarters.
  • Coordinate with wholesaler logistics teams and assist in setting up last-mile delivery logistics processes.
  • Support the smooth transition between old and new suppliers, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with suppliers to monitor and ensure timely delivery of food and packaging to restaurant partners in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to analyse and optimise supply chain performance metrics.
  • Assist in identifying areas for improvement within the supply chain and propose actionable solutions.
  • Support in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking shipment movements.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, document management, and scheduling meetings.

Who are you:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced setting.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing issues.

Knowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is a plus, but not required
