Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to play a vital part in streamlining transport services, fostering enduring partnerships with transport providers, and skillfully managing contract negotiations. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for managing the allocated transport budget within specific regions and product categories.
• Cultivate and nurture long-lasting relationships with transport vendors, ensuring mutual benefit and reliability.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of supply chain partners, proactively identifying and implementing enhancements where necessary.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of existing and potential transport vendors to secure the most favorable service levels and pricing arrangements.
• Lead the organization and execution of transport tenders, incorporating strategic planning and preemptive measures to address potential issues along transport routes.
• Collaborate closely with company management and internal stakeholders to communicate transport insights and pricing strategies effectively.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal discussions and resolution of transport-related matters, adeptly managing non-conformities and claims to uphold operational efficiency. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language
• Prior experience in Supply Chain planning or procurement
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Competencies in teamwork, effective communication, leadership, and customer focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dynamics, and ERP systems.

• a 7 month contract followed by a 1 year contract, and afterwards a permanent contract
• travel allowance: 23 cents per km for 50 km one-way
