Send us your application!The business unit Regulatory Services offers industry the expertise needed to guarantee the safety of industrial chemicals, biocides and plant protection products for humans and the environment. To strengthen the business unit, we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague for assessing environmental safety and risks of chemicals, biocides and plant protection products.

The customer focus combined with high-end scientific insight and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations ensure a unique positioning in the market.


  • Advise customers on registration strategy for their chemicals, biocides and plant protection products;

  • Performing environmental risk assessment and compile (parts of) dossiers in scope of REACH, BPR, PPPR;

  • Explore and evaluate opportunities for experimental testing alternatives (e.g. QSAR, read-across and literature search);

  • Compile expert statements;

  • Express results/ideas to colleagues, customers and external experts via reports and presentations;

  • Keep track of relevant developments in REACH, BPR and PPPR.


  • Challenging projects with various (inter)national clients;

  • Opportunities to develop further as an expert in the field of regulatory toxicology;

  • Flexible secondary conditions of employment including 33 days off and a 13th months' salary;

  • Possible work in hybrid form (office/home);

  • A full-time position. Part-time fulfilment with a minimum of 32 hours is negotiable;

Requirements:

* MSc or PhD degree, preferably in Ecotoxicology, Biology, or Environmental Science;
* 0-2 years of relevant work experience;
* Critical, initiative-rich and problem-solving skills;
* Strong communication, multitasking and ability to work temporarily under time pressure related to regulatory deadlines;
* Positive, energetic attitude and able to inspire teammates as well as to work independently;
* Good written and oral expression skills in English.
