ESA Software Trainer (ESA/ESTEC)

We are looking for a Trainer who will join the Octagon Professionals projects team at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk (ESTEC). In this position you will provide training support services to the ESA Directorate - Earth Observation Program. The position is full-time with a fixed term contract until 31.12.2026.

As a Trainer, you will focus on the following:

• Support to users for issues related to the tools and the training of new users. The service acts as the focal point for relating user problems for these electronic tools. The user support to users located off-site will be provided via telephone or MS Teams. The key tools concerned are:

- ESAs ERP system (ESA-p)

- EROS (Risk Management tool)

- ESA Star (ESAs tendering and registration system)

- Schedule and planning software

- ECLIPSE Document Management Suite

• Preparation of and delivery of targeted training and user guides for the users of the documentation management system, RIDs, actions items.





• Preparation of and delivery of targeted training and user guides for the users of scheduling tools.





• Identify opportunities for improving the project management process.

Qualifications and experience requirements are:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, IT or equivalent with at least 4 years' experience in training services.





• Knowledge of ESA software tools a distinct advantage but a phase-in period of 3 months will be provided.





• Command of English, both written and spoken; Knowledge of French or another EU member state language would be an advantage.
