About the play
"The Stone Bridal Bed" examines culprits and victims of World War II. In this timeless story of war and tragedy, highly revered Dutch author Harry Mulish shows us that a "good war" does not exist.
The plot follows American fighter pilot Norman Corinth, who participated in the bombing of Dresden, Germany and returns to the city 11 years later. This performance by the Dutch National Theater will include English surtitles, ideal for non-Dutch speakers.
