Senior Financial Accountant| French

Our client is a recognized world leader in food delivery operating a network of over 8,000 company-owned and franchise-owned stores in the United States and international markets. The company is looking for an independent financial accountant who would be part of an international team in their European Shared Service Center in Nieuwegein.

In this position, you will be in close contact with the team based in France and the Benelux, next to external parties (e.g. food delivery companies like UberEats, Thuisbezorg etc.).
In addition:
-You will manage the month-end closing including providing accurate financial data to the management team
-You will be responsible for P&L and Balance Sheet reporting (monthly and weekly reconciliations on specific GL)
-You will control monthly payslips and payroll entries
-Organize the monthly VAT declaration/ returns
-Support business analysts on budget and forecast processes
-Keep a sharp eye on risks or frauds, manage the year-end audit with the legal department

Requirements:

Who would be the ideal candidate?
You, if you are communicative and analytical. In this position, accuracy and stakeholder management skills are key aspects. You are a self-starter and can adapt to potential organizational changes.
-You completed a Master’s degree in finance/ business administration
-You already gained 5 years of relevant work experience
-You are experienced with Excel and ideally with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
-You have flawless English and French language skills (C2 level)

-A base salary of 4000 euro gross per month
- Reimbursed travels with a max. of 350 euro gross per month
-8% vacation allowance of your annual income (almost +1 month salary!)
