About this role

We are looking for a passionate editor to join our team! If you have experience writing for digital media, are familiar with expat life in the Netherlands, and would like to join a fun, hardworking, international team, then we’d love to hear from you!

You will be primarily responsible for writing news articles, sponsored content, and long-form features.

From keeping your finger on the pulse of Dutch news and selecting stories that speak to our readers, to crafting SEO-optimised content and creating punchy headlines, you’ll need a great eye for what kind of content works for our audience, and feel comfortable producing pieces to
short deadlines.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

Native-standard command of English – both written and verbal
Excellent command of Dutch
Experience living and/or working in the Netherlands
Excellent research and writing skills
Good attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset
Background in digital media, including video, audio, and AI
Proven experience of writing for digital media, with an understanding of the basic principles of SEO
Experience using a content management system (CMS)
A valid work and residence permit (if applicable)
