Sales and Marketing Director Benelux

The main part of this role is managing the Sales Team, the Technical team and a Marketing Specialist. The Sales team consist of 9 FTE; 5 area sales managers (3 in Netherlands and 2 in Belgium) and 4 inside Sales employees (based in the Netherlands). The Technical Support team consist of 3 Technical Support specialists. Next to this you will also collaborate with the Export Coordinator (based in France) for the Benelux office to ensure growth of this subsidiary. Together you will increase sales, ensure an excellent service level and improve processes.
Besides managing your team, you will also organize sales meetings with them to challenge results and help them grow by organizing workshops linked to the company’s strategy. You will be an ambassador for this strategy and help the team to contribute to this. The achieved results will be communicated by you to HQ by providing them activity reports. Lastly, you will be responsible for making sure clients get custom offers and handling any conflicts with clients.

Requirements:

The right candidate for this role:
- You are fluent in Dutch (C1) and English (C1), speaking French is a plus. Having worked with and/or understanding the French culture is a must.
- At least 5+ years of Sales and Managerial experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great leadership and time management skills and is result oriented
- You are agile and work well under pressure
- You have entrepreneurial skills to take the company to a higher level and be a leader in their industry

Salary Benefits:

This concerns a full time, long-term position for 40 hours a week. You will receive a salary based on experience, company car and all required IT equipment. For training purposes, you are expected to travel to France for several days to get to know company’s strategy, products and services. There is also an annual team building that takes place in France (3-4 days).

This company is revolutionizing access control with their different brands. They design and manufacture all their ranges in France, where their HQ is located. A total of over 300 people are working for them from France, the Benelux, Germany and UK and the sell their products in 12 countries. This role has opened up as the current Sales Manager is transferred to the HQ in France.
