European Key Account Manager - Pharma

In this role, you will be building an international sales plan for your segment of responsibility (and territory). A crucial part of that plan is your focus and attention regarding big key accounts - so key account management is something that you are capable of doing.

Your goals will be to build profitable long-term client relationships and increase the revenue and value of your segment and region (Europe), focusing on new and existing customers as you go. With your solid sales track record and experience, sales in the pharmaceutical world is nothing new to you.

Next to that you will be in the lead for negotiations, supporting marketing plans, being responsible for product-market combinations in your region, pricing and closing the deals. The good news is, you are not alone in this - you will get support from your colleagues in a multi-disciplinary structure.

The successful candidate has:

  • Bachelor's level degree education, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ (ideally more) years of experience in sales, including international key account management
  • Sector experience in the pharmaceutical industry / specialty chemicals; preferably with knowledge of API / CDMO
  • You are fluent in English. All other European languages are of an advantage.
  • You are a decisive, team player that has solid customer-focus and demonstrates high level communications competencies.

Salary Benefits:

Our client offers excellent primary (base salary) and secondary benefits, including bonus and other incentives. Sufficient flexibility to work from home, from the office and to navigate your international travel plans is what comes on top. You will be part of an international, diverse team and you will have sufficient space to grow and develop in the organisation.
