As a 'logistics employee' your tasks will be divers. It is your role and responsibility to provide our customers with the best possible service. Is this something that speaks to you?
The Role
You make sure the customer will receive the correct parts and components on time. You will be able to perform all logistic tasks in a safe, quick, and accurate manner. 
As a logistic employee you shall work with automated systems and administrate all activities in our ERP systems. You can operate logistic means using an automated picking system (Vertical Lift Machines & Automated Transport Systems), use of Forklifts (including Narrow-Aisle & Reach) and a driver’s license is a must. As part of the job responsibility, the logistic employee also performs VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) tasks at customer’s premises. Therefore, you will also be screened by the AIVD and a VOG is required.
The Team
The logistics employee operates within the total Supply Chain and Operations Department. You will manage together with your colleagues, all logistic and warehouse activities that are required. You work as a team and in a team, you are pro-active and flexible.
Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, Count and verify (aircraft) goods, products, components, and (production) tooling i.a.w. quality and productivity requirements;
  • Perform Cycle counting and monitor shelf life requirements;
  • (Re)pack, store, transfer goods within the Logistics department;
  • Scrap materials;
  • Process all performed activities and transaction in ERP systems;
  • Be able to operate Forklifts (Narrow-Aisle & Reach);
  • Operate automated picking systems (Vertical Lift Machines & Automated Transport Systems);
  • Receive shipments from forwarders and register receipt in the ERP systems;
  • Prepare and pack shipments;
  • Facilitate Non Conformity procedures to have parts inspected by certifying staff;
  • Waste control and keep the work environment and surroundings clean and tidy (5S);
  • Perform picks and drops at customers premises throughout the Netherlands (VMI);
  • Perform all other required duties to keep the logistics department/warehouse operational;

Experience & Qualifications

  • MBO level by education or experience;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Fluent in Dutch & Advanced in English(verbal and written);
  • Basic technical knowledge of aircraft parts and tooling preferred;
  • Forklift license (Narrow-Aisle & Reach) or willing to obtain must;
  • Driver’s license (B) must;
  • VCA preferred or willing to obtain must;
  • Requirement to pass internal training programs;
  • Flexible and agile attitude;
  • Accurate and result oriented;
  • Team player;
  • Currently living in the Netherlands.
