Oracle DB Administrator

Are you ready to take on the crucial role of an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our database system? If so, we are looking for you!

What you move?

  • Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database systems
  • Ensuring data security, performance tuning, and high availability of the database
  • Creating and maintaining storage structures, user accounts, and database backups
  • Training users on database access and providing proactive and reactive data management support
  • Collaborating with product developers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders 

Requirements:

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
  • Proven work experience as a Database Administrator
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle DBA front-end and back-end tools, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and database security
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of Oracles Exadata, Exadata Cloud @Customer and OCI Services
  • Communicative, active contributor who enjoys teamwork as much as sharing ideas and expertise
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
  • Open-minded behaviour, thinking out of the box
