- Develop, present, and implement a comprehensive Procurement & Logistics Plan for projects based on thorough analyses, project team requirements, and sourcing strategies.
- Identify and effectively manage potential risks and opportunities associated with procurement activities in assigned projects.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including the Project Manager, Technical Superintendent, and procurement manager, to facilitate supplier selection.
- Facilitate the RFQ process, including negotiations and contract agreements with suppliers.
- Maintain close collaboration with project managers to ensure ongoing monitoring of project progress.
- Oversee supplier management within project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure compliance with sourcing procedures and execute operational tasks related to ordering, expediting, and follow-up for critical goods and services.
- Track and provide regular reports on sourcing performance for the project.
Requirements:
- Possess a relevant Bachelor's degree in a field such as Technical, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in areas like procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Experience in the Maritime industry is a must
- Demonstrate a strong interest and familiarity with technical aspects & maritime.
- Exhibit solid commercial experience and skills.
- Showcase proven abilities in project management, negotiation, and contract handling.
- Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and foster connections.
- Embrace a proactive and hands-on approach to work.
- Mandatory language proficiency: English at an advanced level and Dutch at an intermediate level.
- Willingness and availability for occasional travel.
