Customer Support & Order Specialist

Octagon is partnered with a global supplier of fermentation-based ingredients, specializing in high-quality solutions for the food, nutrition, and personal care industries. As their team is growing, we are looking for a Customer Support & Order Specialist, based in Amsterdam!

What you'll do

• Handle incoming customer orders via email (and sometimes phone)


• Enter and update order details in the ERP system (Exact Online)


• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners on delivery updates


• Review purchase orders and invoices to make sure everything matches


• Keep an eye on stock levels and communicate with the team to prevent shortages


• Prepare and check shipping and customs documents


• Support the General Manager and team with administrative tasks

What we're looking for

• Around 1 year of experience in an admin, customer service, or logistics role


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (experience with Exact Online is a plus)


• Strong eye for detail and accuracy


• A proactive attitude and a team player mindset


• Excellent English skills (Dutch, Japanese, German, or French are a plus)
