As a food ambassador, naturally you are enthusiastic, optimistic and treat everyone with respect. You work together with your fellow ambassadors to deliver exceptional service and great food quality.


main tasks

- full ownership of food production and food production areas in order to deliver consistent food quality

- full ownership of cleanliness of kitchen area

- preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food

- food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures, food handling requirements)

- complete food safety according to trained food handling methods

- complete kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies orders in accordance to pre-set PAR levels

- ordering, receiving and storing of goods

- stock take and stock control based on pre-set PAR levels

- organizing and maintaining working areas

- following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure longevity of operating equipment and cleanliness of the kitchens

- filling out daily PAR level sheets

- adherence to health and safety systems and processes to maintain a safe working environment within the kitchen

- prepare lunch & dinner for your fellow ambassadors

- prepare and present lunch or dinner for SocietyM meetings

- full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food & beverage items

- dishwashing throughout shift

- upkeep of public food & beverage areas, replenish vitrines, breakfast and when applicable buffet

- run meals from BoH to FoH once orders prepared


- have a basic understanding of written & spoken English

- are passionate about food and capable to spread your food enthusiasm with your fellow ambassadors

- are diligent and have an eye for detail

- are able to work under pressure in a systematic way

- think ahead - preparation is the key to a successful service

- have knowledge of basic sanitation (HACCP) and kitchen equipment skills

- 1 to 2 years of kitchen exposure is preferred
