Customer service
To be the primary point of contact for the customers in relation to normal business placements (this includes both order management and forwarding management). Be the central source of consistent, accurate and timely reporting to both Sales and customers to ensure all communications are accurate and efficient. Oversee the efficient processing of all stock transactions. Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs. Use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements.

Essential duties:

Business Support

·Providing administrative support to the Europe sales team and customers to assist the management of the overall customer relationship through complete order processing, query resolution, inventory control and reporting
·Ensure tasks relating to product delivery into the customer from order point to invoice
·Manage and respond to customer or internal requests concerning the Logistics department. Take responsibility for resolving the complaints giving first updates within 24 hours and communicate solutions within reasonable time
·Develop a culture of “superior service” in a fast paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction is the highest goal
·Proactively work with Sales management to ensure the allocation decisions required are identified and allocations are made
·Ensure the accurate and timely reporting, both internally and to customers
·Arranging and processing of RMA returns

Reporting and Documentation

·Ensure transactions are documented and processed correctly and audit trail is maintained at all times
·Stock reconciliations, between VSE Oracle and outside systems
·Assist in the development of required reports or formats to support department
·Assist in the maintenance of procedures to support department
·Analyse order fulfilment performance, supply fulfilment performance and 3PL operation performance



· College education in Logistics, Supply chain or Business.
· At least 3 years’ experience, preferably in order management/customer support and logistics
· Import or Customs experience is a plus
· Warehouse management experience is a plus
· Good verbal and written communication skills in English
· Good verbal and written communication skills in German
· Experience of working in a fast response environment is a must
· Excellent problem solving skills – ability to think outside the box.
· Self-motivated with a proven ability to interface directly with the customer
· Computer literate, proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
· ERP Experience, Oracle is much preferred

Salary Benefits:

  • This is a full time (40 hours/week), long term position, with a direct contract with the company.
  • Salary is depending on experience and education
  • You will receive 8% holiday money
  • Working days are from Monday until Friday
