Junior Accountant | English

Our client is a well-established international strategic advisory and communications consultancy with a global footprint. We are actively recruiting for a junior/medior Accountant to join their EU Hub in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and want to play a meaningful role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a broad EMEA region.

Please note: This is a temporary role for 3-6 months (possibly longer), so we are looking for someone immediately available and eligible to work in the NL under an agency contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across the region and its business units

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and close deliverables in a timely manner

• Provide hands on operational support in Accounts Payable processes
• Assist in Order to Cash process

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS

• Experience in a global, multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to multi-business unit structures, foreign currency reporting, and coordination across international finance teams

• Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
