Our client is a well-established international strategic advisory and communications consultancy with a global footprint. We are actively recruiting for 2 GL Accountant roles to join their EU Hub in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and want to play a meaningful role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a broad EMEA region.

Please note: We are looking for Senior and Junior/Medior professionals, who are immediately available as these are urgent hires

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across the region and its business units

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and close deliverables in a timely manner

• Prepare and review financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal accounting policies

• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in preparing documentation and analysis for external audits

• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support senior management decision-making

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA or equivalent certification, or active progress toward certification, is a plus

• A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; public accounting experience is highly regarded

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS

• Experience in a global, multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to multi-business unit structures, foreign currency reporting, and coordination across international finance teams

• Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
