Key Account Manager | Logistics | English

One of our clients in the heart of Rotterdam – a global Logistics and Supply Chain company, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team.
This role is focused on exceeding the set volume and profitability budgets, as well as expanding the customer portfolio, while keeping strong relationship with current accounts.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Achieve annual sales targets by increasing volume, sales, and profit
• Further development of existing customer business
• Set a solid account engagement plan for the next 1-2 years
• Strategic account planning  and stakeholder relationship development, from transactional to strategic partnerships across all customer levels
• Develop and implement a plan to achieve customer renewals & avoid leakage

Main Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics, or international trade logistics
• Bachelor / Master of Business Administration, preferably in Logistics
• Fluency in English is a must, Dutch or German are highly preferred
• Strong time management, good at priority setting, determined, good organizational and planning skills
• Competent Excel and PowerPoint skills and knowledge of CRM tools like Dynamics

Please note that for this role we can only consider candidates who already reside and are eligible to work either in the Netherlands or Germany with no time limitation.
