About this role

We are currently recruiting for a Sr Business Controller for one of our rapidly growing clients within EV and charging infrastructure industry.
This role will act as a strategic partner to the Directors and Board, supporting and guiding business performance growth. It is based in Amsterdam (on a hybrid level) and reports to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

Analyze KPIs and dashboards, highlight trends and provide expert advice that helps Business Managers hit their goals.
Build reliable three statement financial models and scenario analyses for cash management and high-stakes investment decisions.
Track opex and capex across Europe, benchmarking performance and aligning updated estimates with the business.
Identify opportunities to boost financial performance and proactively optimize business processes, ensuring financial operations are lean, scalable, and ready to support a rapidly expanding network
Work on diverse projects involving commercial propositions, marketing activities, operations, retail, product & engineering in a high-growth, international environment.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role- with solid understanding of European business practices.
You bring a hands on, inquisitive attitude, you are a clear communicator and have the maturity to influence decision-making at the board level.
Being comfortable working with large, complex datasets and the tools that manage them.
Fluency in English and any other European language
Genuine passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility.
