About this role

Our client, a lens manufacturer for the machine vision market, is looking for an energetic and outgoing International Account Manager to drive growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
 
As an International Account Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our client’s market presence and customer base across DACH. This position involves a mix of new business development and account management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DACH market
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Support sales campaigns and market expansion initiatives

Account Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing DACH clients
  • Conduct regular client visits and provide exceptional customer service by supporting with quotations, pricing, and negotiations

Customer & Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical questions
  • Collaborate with product specialists and engineers to develop customized solutions
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address any concerns or issues

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM tools
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor insights
  • Contribute to regular sales forecasting and budgeting processes

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

  • 0-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Drivers licence B
  • Strong commercial acumen and curiosity for innovative technologies
  • Ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Highly motivated self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the DACH region
