About this role

This is a Part-time position (32 hours)

Our client, a company located in Amsterdam specializing in immersive experiences and innovative marketing solutions, is seeking an accomplished Accountant to join their team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial processes while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory listings.
Prepare general ledgers, journal entries, and finalize month-end closing trial balances.
Generate comprehensive financial and management reports on a regular basis.
Conduct thorough sales analyses to identify patterns and trends.
Monitor and verify the docketing process.
Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT reports, wage tax, and corporate tax filings.
Provide guidance and supervision to the Accounting Coordinator.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and operational enhancements within the business.
Prepare interim and year-end audit packages for external auditors.

About You:

Possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international setting
Good communication skills in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written
Showcase a comprehensive understanding of Dutch accounting (GAAP), tax, and payroll regulations.
Available to work 32 hours (4 days per week). This job is not available full-time.
Able to work 4 days onsite in the Amsterdam office

What's in it for you?

Salary range of 4300 to 5000 EUR gross per month, excluding the 8% holiday allowance, on a 32h/w basis
