Network and Infrastructure Support Engineer

For an international retail fashion brand, we are looking for a Network and Infrastructure Support Engineer!
You will be based in the Amsterdam office of the company and provide Tier 3 support for both stores and office locations.

• Provide expert-level IT technical support to the EMEA region.




• Ensure a high level of customer service and support is provided to all end-users.




• Lead break fix, including replacement where appropriate, of all user-facing hardware.




• Assist with large scale IT Projects across the EMEA region.




• Assist in the management and maintenance of IT Infrastructure.




• Partner with senior technical staff to deliver relevant solutions to the business.




• Provide root cause analysis of faults to assist delivery of continuous improvement.




• Work on new store roll outs and retail-based technologies.




• Proactively manage backlogs of incident and request tickets and escalate where necessary.




• Build documentation and training guides to share knowledge.




• Operate in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, and processes.




• Keep up to date with the latest IT technologies and security awareness.

This is a great permanent role in Amsterdam, with a base salary of 70-75K eur per year. Aside from the base salary there will be many other secondary benefits such as flexible working hours, discounted health insurance and an attractive pension scheme.

Requirements:

* Relevant experience in IT Support, with a strong focus on Tier 3, network and infrastructure management.
* Familiarity with network equipment such as Cisco Meraki;
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, switch configuration, and firewalls.
* Experience supporting Windows and MacOS devices, Mobile Device Management for mobiles and tablets, and solving problems with Office 365 suite;
* Active Directory management and printer troubleshooting;
* Willingness to travel within Europe and the UK as needed for project support;
* Fluent in English;

You will work closely with local and global network and infrastructure teams, and travel occasionally across the company's European sites. You will be part of a vibrant and international team, so if you're an enthusiastic team player - this is the job for you!
