Senior Accountant

Primary Responsibilities - (% of time)

  • Reviewing and approving the accounting of Invoices input by the AP team- (40%)
  • Accounting and closing process - (30%)
    • Recording and validating all kinds of transactions and other information in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards (US GAAP, HK GAAP and Dutch GAAP) using the accounting system (PeopleSoft). This includes management and incentive fees as well as compensation, T&E, income and expense accruals and tax calculations;
    • Participating in month-end and year-end closing of management entities;
    • Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial results of management entities
    • Reconciling the balances of the management entities;
  • External/Internal billing - (15%)
  • Facilitating audits (Financial, SOX and ISAE) - 5%
  • Making recommendations regarding process and efficiency improvements, particularly focus on systems/tools - 10%

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in accounting or finance required
  • Around 5 years' relevant work experience in accounting required
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership and work independently in a structured way
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team
  • Successfully managed multiple responsibilities under deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
  • Good command of Knowledge of Dutch preferable
  • High level of Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
