The opening of beach season 2020 is going to be marked with an important event: Bonfire Beach Fest. From 5pm until 2am in Scheveningen, this large-scale free festival will sweep you off your feet and get you ready for beach season!

Prepare for beach season with Bonfire Beach Fest

At Scheveningen, the most popular beach in the Netherlands, stretching all the way from Zuiderstrand to Zwarte Pad, visitors can immerse themselves in fire spectacles, live music and beachy vibes. Next to the famous pier, there’ll be a music stage, as well as the official Festival Village near the WIJ beach club. 

As the name suggests, fire shows and installations are at the heart of the festival, inviting you to stroll through the fairytale fire garden, complete with beach tents, pop-up bars and stages made from shipping containers.

Attendees can even bring their own drinks! However, there will be pop-up bars selling all kinds of refreshments for those who arrive empty-handed.

Meanwhile, Campfire Session will take place at the Zwarte Pad with singer-songwriters. DJ acts, summer drinks and delicious snacks mingled with the sea air and the beach vibes are the perfect recipe to make the Bonfire Beach Fest a night to remember.
