The apartment is on the first floor of a former bank building from 1935. Built under the supervision of the famous Dutch architect Dudok. In 1997 the bank building was converted into an apartment complex, while the striking appearance has been preserved. Characteristic is the combination of the sleek finish and the beautiful authentic details of the past such as the steel frames and the travertine window sills.

The apartment has a large living room and an adjacent study area, a cosy kitchen, a bedroom with a spacious bathroom and a separate toilet. If you come by car, there is a private parking space available in the inner area of the building.

Suitable for a couple: two working professionals with sufficient income and a child (max 1 year).

We like to offer you a cosy, safe and lovely place to call home, in a quiet and green area away from the noise & located right in the city centre. This place is also gay friendly.

Ground floor
The apartment complex has a closed entrance with doorbells and mailboxes. Through the preserved central hall you walk to the stairwell, the elevator and basement storerooms.

1st floor
The front door of the apartment is located at the end of the gallery, which means: no passers-by!
You enter a light and spacious hall. At the end of the corridor you will find the toilet with hand basin, storage / laundry room, the fusebox and further access to the bedroom and living room.

The entire apartment has smoothly plastered walls, large windows in characteristic steel frames and a beautifully oiled cherry wood floor. The living room has high ceilings and offers a view over the Tuinlaan and 'De Plantage' - the oldest city park in the Netherlands. 

The owner of the house has furnished the apartment in such a way that it fits the look of this monumental building. A bit vintage, quirky and spacious. There is a lot of living space and you can sit with all your friends at the large dining table.

The kitchen is connected to the living room and equipped with a 5-burner gas hob with wok burner, stainless steel extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a freezer. You will also find all the necessary kitchenware, tableware, cleaning tools & cooking/cleaning appliances you need.

The bedroom is located on the quiet backside and courtyard of the building. The bathroom has a bath, sink and a radiator for keeping the towels warm. Towels & floormat are also provided for your convenience.

Due to its central location, all urban facilities are within reach. Public transport stops in front of the door. By car you are within 5 minutes on the highways (A20 / A4) and within 10 minutes in the centre of Rotterdam.

Within walking distance are various supermarkets, restaurants, cosy bars, a beauty salon, three fitness facilities, a theatre and the shopping centre of Schiedam with an extensive range of shops.

The apartment is fully complete; you do not need to bring any furniture or change anything in the apartment. The apartment is privately owned and managed by a professional property manager. We will take care of everything for you and make you feel at home!

We will do a full (financial) credibility check on our tenants. Therefore we need some basic (financial) information before we can rent the apartment to you, such as IDs, recent salary slips, employer statements or proof of registration if you are still studying.
