Take Ownership
As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in executing our AI-first strategy and revolutionizing how every team at bunq operates. You will:
Design and deploy production-grade AI agents and systems that automate complex workflows and unlock new capabilities for all departments, such as operations or marketing.
Leverage our extensive datasets to train, fine-tune, and implement sophisticated LLMs and machine learning models that solve critical business challenges and drive innovation.
Act as a key AI expert and partner to teams across bunq, identifying high-impact opportunities and translating diverse business needs into robust, scalable AI solutions.
Requirements
You build production-grade LLM applications (agentic systems, RAG, tool-use).
You are experienced with LLM fine-tuning and cost optimization strategies.
You have deep knowledge of classical ML and behavioural modelling.
You have a strong grasp of ML infrastructure and MLOps (AWS).
You excel at translating business problems into scalable AI solutions.
You are fluent in English – able to communicate effectively in a global team, ensuring collaboration and clarity across all project stages.
