About this role

For one of our international clients in Hoofddorp, we are currently seeking a Customer Support and Order Management Specialist to join their team. Our client is a global producer and provider of merchandising, security, and IoT solutions.

In this role, you will support B2B customers across German- and English speaking markets, acting as a key like between customers, supply chain, and internal stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience in order management and customer operations but wants to learn more and develop within an international organization.

This is a temporary position for approx. 6 months, and you will be offered a contract through us, Adams Multilingual Recruitment. At the end of the assignment, there is an opportunity to be offered a direct contract with our client. 

In this role, your responsibilities include:

  • Order management: processing orders, providing price information, determining appropriate shipping methods, and ship dates
  • Create and manage quotes, proposals, and customer requests
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate closely with warehouse and supply chain teams
  • Inventory management and on-time and in-full delivery of customer orders
  • Build reports to help support business objectives (e.g. back orders, customer complaints)
  • Proactively identify potential issues and resolve them efficiently
  • Provide technical troubleshooting via phone and coordinate field calls with a service partner

The way of working

You are asked to come into the Hoofddorp office every day for the first 3 months for training purposes. Afterward, you will be able to work from home twice a week. 

Your profile

  • Previous experience in customer service, order management, account management, and/or customer operations
  • You are fluent in English and German, this is a must
  • You have experience working in a B2B manufacturing or product-based environment
  • You enjoy providing excellent customer service, you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and have an analytical mindset
