Have you ever experienced a lousy internet connection, faulty heating or a blocked toilet and you didn’t know who to call?

Homiez 24/7 Expat Home Assist provides a one-stop support service for all emergency household issues and repairs.

Home repair services for expats

It's hard enough finding a place to live in the Netherlands - but it doesn't end there! If you need urgent household repairs it's also difficult to find and communicate with reliable service providers or handymen.

For many expats, if you don’t speak Dutch then getting assistance from a mechanic, plumber or helpdesk can often be very frustrating!

With the aim of freeing expats from the worry and inconvenience of emergency household repairs, Homiez is the first service to focus exclusively on practical help for expats at home.

About Homiez Expat Home Assist services

Homiez offers complete coverage for all emergency household problems including assembling, repairs, water, plumbing, electricity, gas, windows, locksmiths, whitegoods (appliances), heating and cooling systems.

With a Homiez membership you can call any time of the day or night to get help from their reliable network of professionals including handymen, mechanics and technicians who are all local, certified, insured and extensively pre-screened.

Homiez not only offers you peace of mind and convenience, they also protect you from the high costs and hassle of emergency home repairs from unknown service providers.

Homiez membership

Expats can take out monthly or yearly memberships with Homiez which provides 24/7 phone and internet support for all household issues. Whether it’s an evening or weekend, name a problem and Homiez will make sure one of their experts promptly solves it for you.

Homiez services will be launched soon and will offer tailored membership packages that you can apply for either online or by calling one of their customer service representatives.

Homiez wants to hear from you

Homiez would like to know more about the needs and priorities of the expat community in the Netherlands. They are conducting a short survey of expats to find out how they can best tailor their services.

Participants who complete the two minute survey will go into the running to win one of 15 double tickets for a luxury boat cruise in Amsterdam!

Experience Amsterdam's canals on a luxury boat cruise

The Homiez boat cruise is not just a regular guided boat tour. This is a unique experience and exploration of the canals of Amsterdam!

On the cruise the skipper will share his historical expertise and great knowledge of Amsterdam by taking guests on an insider’s tour of its famous canals, manoeuvring the sleek boat through narrow passages and hidden waterways to reveal a whole new side to the city!

With a luxury deck where guests can lounge while enjoying a cold drink and delicious appetizers offered by Homiez, this noiseless electrical boat can feel like the best outdoor terrace in town.

You will also have the chance to meet other expats as winning participants will be taking the boat cruise together. The more the merrier!

Share your experience to win!

To go into the running to win one of 15 double tickets for the luxury boat cruise, simply complete the Homiez Services Survey by August 8 and then enter your details on the competition entry page at the end. Date and time for the cruise will be advised via email.
