Whatever your reason for staying in Amsterdam - a business trip, studying or renovating your own apartment - you definitely want more out of it than a tourist accommodation. When you have several months to spend in one place, you want it to feel like home and give you the comfort and opportunities to live life to the fullest:

  • Will the accommodation allow you to register with the municipality?
  • Is everything set up for long term living?
  • How clean and comfortable is the neighbourhood?
  • Is there a convenient place to eat and work?
  • How close are you to all the key areas of the city?

Wait, wait, too many things at once!

Yes, it's a lot, and sometimes you have to settle for compromises or spend a lot of time looking for a place that fits all these criteria.

Live like a local

There is one place in Amsterdam that gives you everything you need for an extended stay, from registering at the municipality to bike rentals. Here you can live like a local with the comfort of a hotel. You can go buy fresh ingredients at one of the local markets and cook your favourite dishes in your room or in the shared kitchen, ride your bike around town, or go directly to the bustling streets of the old neighbourhood you call your new home.

It's the Rooms25 hotel, and it has everything you need to be the perfect homebase to work, study or organise life. At Rooms25, you’ll find a spacious co-working space, delicious modern French cuisine in the first-floor restaurant, an active community of international employees / guests / neighbours, and most importantly, it is designed to be a place to call home for the duration of your stay.

Plus, the hotel is only a 10 to 15-minute walk from Central Station!

What rooms would you call home?

Each room at the hotel is spacious with large windows, and is decked out with a refrigerator, microwave, desk and comfortable double bed.

A good option is the "Apartment" room. This is a fully-functioning apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen-living room. You can invite friends or family over for dinner, work at your desk during the day, or just enjoy the spacious (40-54 square metres) space. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and all the necessary utensils. The apartment is cleaned once a week.

If the ability to cook isn't that important to you, you can choose a room without a kitchen and dine in the restaurant downstairs or visit the common guest kitchen on the second floor when you're in the mood to cook.

Here are some of your other room options:

What about work?
