Coronavirus vaccinations in the Netherlands

According to the government's corona dashboard, a total of 343.881 people in the Netherlands have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Date Vaccinations
January 26 - February 2 343.881 (+ 179.950)
January 18 - January 25 163.931 (+ 86.931)
January 6 - January 17 77.000

There have been a number of discussions between the Dutch government and various health boards across the country including the RIVM and the National Acute Care Network (LNAZ) over the past week. News emerged that the number of vaccinations carried out on a day-to-day basis had been underreported, and so the figure shown on the corona dashboard was inaccurate. The Ministry of Health corrected the apparent mistake, but the news was followed by an update from the government which revealed that the figures reported on January 31 were inaccurate due to the double count of 17.550 jabs.

To ensure the same errors can't be made in the future, the government has changed the set up of the corona dashboard to temporarily feature the number of registered injections (from LNAZ and GGD) as well as the assumed total number of vaccinations. This assumption is based on the number of doses delivered to each individual vaccination site. The figure shown in the above graph is the assumed total number of vaccinations.
