[Ministry of Defence] Apache in firing incident at US military base

During an exercise at US military base Fort Hood, an Apache combat helicopter of the Royal Netherlands Air Force accidentally hit a vehicle with two 30mm rounds.

No one was injured in the incident.

The incident happened during a combined exercise with Dutch units of the 11 Airmobile Brigade. The US authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
