The Hague raises money for Japan

During Life I Live, Bevrijdingsfestival and Walk the Line visitors will be asked to donate money to Japan, by sending a text message.

This SMS campaign is a joint initiative of the organisers and the city of The Hague to raise funds for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.

The campaign will start on April 29 during the Life I Live Festival, will be promoted again during the Bevrijdinsfestival on May 5 and will end during the Walk the Line Festival (May 14).

On May 18, the total amount raised will be announced at a benefit dinner at ROC Mondriaan.

People who want to contribute can send the message "Japan" to 4333. The price for the SMS (1,50 euros) goes to the Red Cross.
