Utrecht University: No classes on January 21
There has been a lot of protest from both students and universities about the proposed cuts in Dutch Higher Education by the government.
EU students may also be affected in several ways.
On January 21 there will be a large student demonstration in The Hague, and in the morning there will be a demonstration of university professors.
The Executive Board and the Deans of the Faculties support the demonstration and would like to give all students the opportunity to participate. Therefore, no classes will be held on January 21.
Note that exams will go ahead as scheduled.
The Executive Board hopes that many students will take the opportunity to participate in the demonstration.
