Our client is an international media and entertainment giant, offering streaming services to millions of members worldwide who enjoy TV series, documentaries, movies and an exciting gaming experience. 

We are looking for an ambitious Social Media Marketing Producer to join our client’s team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will develop best practices, advise on platform strategies, explore and leverage key platform and influencer partnerships, build budget trackers and agendas, and support the scaling of ideas. Whilst this role will also assist in developing and executing organic social campaigns, the biggest proponent of tasks will focus on ensuring smooth operations, clear ways of working, and effective collaboration across the team and wider cross-functional teams.

Job Profile for Social Media Marketing Producer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the Social Manager and key stakeholders by ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration
  • Streamline workflows by establishing and maintaining processes, calendars, and documentation that enhance team efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure the timely delivery of assets and approvals
  • Establish and reinforce best practices and ways of working to ensure consistency across campaigns
  • Track deadlines, identify potential bottlenecks, and support with project management tools
  • Contribute to reporting and performance tracking by collecting metrics and preparing clear summaries
  • Oversee small-scale projects (e.g., social media channel clean-ups, off-season campaigns) and ensure agency deliverables meet quality expectations
  • Assist with budget management for assigned titles, including invoice processing, SOWs, and data entry
  • Collaborate with team leads to improve operational workflows, such as document management and process efficiency
  • Monitor audience trends and brand signals to identify opportunities that spark fan engagement with fresh, innovative approaches

Candidate Profile for Social Media Marketing Producer

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in social marketing, digital marketing, agency roles, editorial, or consumer goods brands, ideally within entertainment, sports, or gaming
  • Tech-savvy with absolute proficiency in Google Workplace (formerly G Suite)
  • Experience with social media management tools and/or project management systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in using data and intuition to make content that grabs attention and engages the audience
  • Excellent skills in social media analytics
  • Comfortable working with executives at all levels of the organisation and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritise and adapt to shifting team needs
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally
  • Positive attitude and a team player, especially when faced with changing responsibilities
