HR Generalist | Dutch

Our client is a global leader in the spirits industry with years of experience and thousands of employees worldwide. We are currently looking for an HR Generalist fluent in both Dutch & English, to be based in Amsterdam and support all HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Workday subject matter expert – manage employee data and support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on HR matters such as employment offers, termination or performance management process etc.
• Partner with Global Talent Acquisition and leaders in the recruitment and selection process, from job description development, interviewing, talent selection and offer.
• Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to ensure a successful onboarding experience for new employees
• Provide basic HR guidance to employees on various topics and issues in partnership with the HRBPs.
• Support local employee engagement initiatives and activities, such as internal and external events, lunches, Town Halls, etc.

What You Bring:

• 3-4 years of experience within a similar HR function (e.g. as junior HR Generalist or HR Coordinator)
• Professional fluency in both Dutch & English
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and social security regulations, HR practices, and cultural considerations within the region
• Strong understanding of HR Information Systems (Workday strongly preferred) and proficiency in standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and shared file management.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

• A salary between €60,000-65,000 gross p/y
• 1-year direct contract to begin with
• Hybrid full-time role / 4-1 office-home based (32h is also possible)
• Pension & health insurance contribution
• 25 holiday days
