Financial Analyst - English

Currently expanding, they are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team remotely from anywhere in Bulgaria.

Job Profile for Financial Analyst
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Reviews and processes vendor invoices for accuracy and correct coding
• Assists with payment processing, vendor account reconciliations, and invoice-related inquiries
• Maintains vendor records and supports expense report review and processing
• Supports month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
• Analyses general ledger accounts, investigates variances, and ensures accurate financial records
• Prepares recurring financial and management reports
• Assists with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Analyses financial results and provides insights into trends and business performance
• Supports ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

Candidate Profile for Financial Analyst

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, accounts payable, or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products 
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles is beneficial 
• Experience supporting monthly financial close processes is preferred
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting support is a plus
• Experience with Deltek VantagePoint is a plus 
• Experience in a professional services, consulting, or project-based business environment is an advantage 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
