Temporary IT Support and Systems Engineer

IT Support Role Description:This role provides frontline technical support to users handling everyday requests related to both hardware and software issues. The main goal is to assist users, track new software releases, manage spare equipment, and perform basic hardware and software updates. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth execution of onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist in building and maintaining a software license management system.
- Offer proactive technical support to users, addressing daily hardware and software inquiries.
- Gather user feedback and requirements to implement software updates seamlessly, minimizing user disruption.
- Handle deployment, support, and maintenance of telephony and mobile devices, along with other hardware and software.
- Manage inventory of spare office hardware (laptops, mobile devices, screens)
- Maintain relationship with key hardware vendors, software vendors and implementation partners.
This position plays a crucial role within the organization by providing technical support and working closely with the IT Support Engineer to ensure user adoption, security, and proper access.Additionally, the role involves collaboration with hardware and software vendors and implementation partners.
Requirements:
Skills required: Proven ability to maintain Apple hardwareKnowledge in working with: MacOS, iOS, Active Directory, MS Office365, Azure and JamfKnowledge of Jira & Confluence is a plus Soft skills: Well-organised and analytical skills.Team player with excellent communication skills.Pro-active in supporting the business, service minded, self-driven.
