About this role

We are looking for a passionate editor to join our Switzerland team! If you have experience writing for digital media, are familiar with expat life in Switzerland, and would like to join a fun, hardworking, international team, then we’d love to hear from you!

In this role you’d be primarily responsible for writing news and long-form articles to publish on our Switzerland website.

From keeping your finger on the pulse of Swiss news and selecting stories that speak to our readers, to crafting SEO-optimised content and creating punchy headlines, you’ll need a great eye for what kind of content works for our audience, and feel comfortable producing pieces to short deadlines.

Commitment: 32-40 hours per week

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

Native-standard command of English - both written and verbal
Good command of French and/or German
Experience living and/or working in Switzerland
Excellent research and writing skills
Good attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset
Proven experience of writing for digital media, with an understanding of the basic principles of SEO
Experience using a content management system (CMS)
A valid work and residence permit (if applicable)
