Mario Kart gaming app announces new Amsterdam track

The popular Mario Kart Tour app for smartphones took to Twitter this week to announce a new addition to the game, Amsterdam Drift, which takes players through stereotypically Dutch scenery!
Mario Kart Tour launches new Amsterdam Tour and Flower Kart
It's a classic game loved by people of all ages, but now the makers behind the Mario Kart Tour app have made an announcement that is sure to get many Dutch and Netherlands-based fans excited: the app is launching a new track that takes players through the streets of the Dutch capital and Volendam as part of the Amsterdam Tour.
Alongside the new track - complete with Dutch icons including tulips, trams and windmills - the launch of Amsterdam Drift also includes the launch of a new classically Dutch vehicle, named the Flower Kart, for the character Rosalina.
The two-week-long Amsterdam Tour commenced on Wednesday, April 20, meaning that this fun celebration of Dutch history and culture will coincide nicely with King's Day on April 27.
