Julidans Summer Festival of International Contemporary Dance
Julidans is a yearly summer festival for international contemporary dance. It is a great opportunity to see dance performances, meet the creators and choreographers during "Meet & Eat," discover a new generation at Julidans NEXT and sample dance at "I Like To Watch Too (& Dance)."

Julidans shows dance from all over the world, including Africa and the Arabic world. The festival is looking for dance makers who are not afraid to raise their voice and who dare to explore (and ignore) boundaries.

This year's festival presents the enfants terribles and grand masters of contemporary dance, and in many cases the invited choreographers are both, like VA Wölfl, whose "Ich Sah: Das Lamm auf dem Berg Zion, Offb. 14,1" opens Julidans 2011. Alongside the leading choreographers like Maguy Marin, Wim Vandekeybus and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the festival presents the next generation in Julidans NEXT.
