TEDxDelft
TEDxDelft is an independently organised event sponsored by TU Delft. Based on TED's slogan "Ideas worth spreading", the day is filled with inspirational speakers who stimulate the audience’s thoughts. Their focus is to encourage the community of scientists, designers and thinkers to be motivated and proactive about following through on great ideas.
This year’s theme is Let’s make things Beta!, reminding us that every great concept once had a still imperfect beta-phase. But don't let fear of imperfection or failure scare you off from reaching for your goals and developing your plans. Think along with the greats on how to realise your ideas!
What will be discussed
This year’s inspirational speakers will cover various subjects, from the "coolest" way to lose weight to the importance of empathy in innovation. The youngest speaker, fifteen-year-old Puck Meerburg, faces the theme head-on as he explains the importance of the beta phase in programming.
