About Akira Yoshizawa
More than 200 pieces of Akira Yoshizawa's origami art will be displayed in his first solo exhibition in the Netherlands since 1955.
Akira Yoshizawa (1911-2005) is the grandmaster of origami and made the art of folding paper generally known to the public. His folded (animal) figures have become world renowned and this exhibition is organised in memory of his 100th birhtday.
