"From Dada to Surrealism" is a magnificent survey exhibition by Jewish avant-garde artists from Romania, consisting of more than 70 art works from the period 1910-1938. Most of these works have never been on display in the Netherlands (or even outside Romania).
The exhibition underscores the long-neglected importance of Bucharest to the European avant-garde and explores the relationship between Jewish identity and radical modernity.
