About the competition

Of course you know that the best way to keep up your Dutch is to actually use it! Taking a conversation course to boost your shaky speaking skills is a great way to start. However, it is only a preparation for the Real Thing: speaking Dutch in everyday life, with real Dutchies.

If your answer is the most remarkable one, you might very well find yourself prepared for the Real Thing after one of the Conversation courses at Direct Dutch.

About the Conversation Plus course

The Conversation Plus course is meant for students who have mastered the basics of the Dutch language in theory, but need some practice using it. It allows students who have completed an intermediate, advanced and / or NT2 course to build on their vocabulary and fluency.

Throughout the course, students will practise their speaking skills in presentations, debates, speeches and just a lot of conversation, based on recent articles from quality Dutch media. This course is an ideal way to shake the dust off your rusty Dutch, or to actually start using the language you have learned.

• Level: B1 + CEFR
•  Duration: 8 weeks, 16 hours (1 lesson of 2 hours a week)
• Time: Saturday mornings 10am - 12pm, or Tuesday evening 6.30pm - 8.30pm
