Winter Village Amstelveen

Winter Village is a Christmas fair and ice skating event in the city centre of Amstelveen! In the Christmas period, Amstelveen near Amsterdam is cosy and fun, and the Winter Village is right at the heart of it. 

Special restaurant

For all four weeks of the Winter Village, a special pop-up restaurant will be right by the rink to bring warmth and ambience to the eventful gathering place. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or a hearty glühwein, or get a memorable lunch or dinner of cheese fondue, stamppot or apple strudel.

Winter Village fair and ice rink

Cabins and stalls filled with all kinds of wintry merchandise will treat families and kids to one of the biggest Christmas fairs in North Holland, and the 550-metre squared ice rink and restaurant will make the winter fun complete.

Special activities at the ice skating rink include disco skating and various workshops, all in line with the ancient Dutch tradition of braving the frozen waters. Local shops will also be open, meaning that a trip to the Winter Village can easily be combined with a visit to the city centre via public transportation.
