At twilight, planes and helicopters will take to the skies above the beach in Scheveningen with lights and fireworks at the spectacular Scheveningen Light Air Show. This is a free event for everyone to enjoy in the great outdoors.

Aerobatics and stunts at Scheveningen

The British Twister Aerobatic Team and Otto the Helicopter are the main acts. Others include Rotterdam Flying Club, Dutch Rush Aerobatic, AeroSPARX and elite aerobatic competition pilot Johan Gustafsson.

The show is organised by Scheveningen Light Walk, which is part of a series of special light events in The Hague called The Hague HighLights.

Celebrating the 200-year anniversary of Scheveningen as a beach resort, 2018 has been the year of Scheveningen’s Seaside Celebrations, and the Light Air Show is the perfect way to celebrate after dark.

Kicking off the festive month of December, the Light Air Show is set to be a captivating performance for everybody to enjoy for free on the most famous beach in the Netherlands.
