The Euro Muscle Show is a festival of strength and wellness taking place in the RAI convention centre in Amsterdam this July. With star participants and a range of disciplines on show, there's something for every kind of fitness fan.

Euro Muscle Show 2024

For fans of displays of strength and agility, there is no better place to be this July 13-14 than the Euro Muscle Show. There are over 1.500 athletes competing in more than 150 events, as well as a huge exhibitor section for you to get your hands on the best products to support you in your own fitness journey.

The headline news is that the Olympia Qualifiers are taking place over the weekend, the first time they have been held in the Netherlands for 20 years! Those who qualify will go on to compete for the prestigious title of Mr Olympia in the US later this year.

Feats of strength

With so many events happening over the weekend, it's impossible to list them all. Powerlifting, bodybuilding displays, and street lifting all feature, as well as the crowd-pleasing strongman competition. This competition is open to amateurs who register in advance and includes rounds such as carrying atlas balls, throwing sandbags and pulling a vehicle. The winner in each weight class can go on to compete in the Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships in 2025, named after super-celebrity of the bodybuilding world, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Skills and fitness

As well as classic strength events, there is plenty happening that focuses on all-round fitness and other skills. Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and boxing all have demonstrations and competitions, and there will be talks given by world-class competitors to help you reach your A-game.

Meet and greets are possible with many stars of the sporting world, such as Nouchka Fontijn, the Netherlands' first ever Olympic boxing medal winner, Mitchell Hooper, the winner of World's Strongest Man 2023, and champion bodybuilders such as Kevin Levrone, William Bonac, Andrea Shaw and the "Dutch Oak" Wesley Vissers.

Attending the Euro Muscle Show

Taking place in the Amsterdam RAI convention centre, the show is very easy to reach by public transport. Metro stops Europaplein (Line 52) and Amsterdam RAI (Lines 50 and 51) are both extremely close by and connect the venue to Amsterdam Centraal, Amsterdam Amstel, Bijlmer ArenA and Amsterdam Zuid train stations in a matter of minutes. Amsterdam RAI is also a train station in its own right, providing direct connections to the rest of the Netherlands such as Schiphol Airport, Almere and Utrecht.

You can find out more about everything that is happening and buy tickets in advance from the Euro Muscle Show website. If you think you have what it takes, this is also where you can register to take place in some of the amateur competitions.
